Face Roller

It's come to my realization that my face is a lot chubbier than it used to be. After watching one of bubzbeauty's monthly favourite video (I forgot which one), I was intrigued to try the face roller that she mentioned about. I did a quick search on ebay and found out they cost a few dollars including shipping. I didn't buy it right away (for whatever reason I had at that time). Then I found one at Pacific Mall, and the store was selling it for over $10! There was no way I was going to buy an overpriced item. Today, I went into a store called 天天百貨 at the plaza at Warden and Steeles, where T&T Supermarket is located... and I found this, on sale for $3.99! They had different kinds of rollers, some for legs, some for face, I even saw one for breasts @_@ There were 2 different ones for face, but I decided to choose this one because it seems more sturdy.

Recommended use: 10 minutes per day
There are 2 separate parts. The main part with 2 arms is for the cheeks. The 1-arm part can be attached to the main part to be rolled on the chin (as shown on picture). Personally, I don't enjoy the chin part because I'm scared of having anything close to my throat so I don't attach it on. Rolling this device on the face is quite decent, not uncomfortable at all. The surface of the roller balls is not too harsh. I actually quite enjoy it (there's something pleasant about anticipating a slimmer face lol). After about 10 minutes of rolling or massaging, the cheeks have a heated sensation. This improves blood circulation.

This is way too early to tell if it will slim down my cheeks. But for sure, I'll continue to use it and will let you girls know if it actually works ;)

OOTD: Casual Stripes

I bought this green and white stripes from Asia Fashion Wholesale because I saw how everything was super inexpensive from Joey's blog. I bought a total of 4 things, this top is one of them. I think it's below $5, although the quality isn't the best, I really like the fit. It's super light weight, it should be still appropriate on a cool summer day.
If you girls want, I can do a review on this online site. I just wanna say that I don't think I'll be buying from it again despite the very affordable price. And it's because I ended up paying quite a bit of shipping and customs :( Plus, only 2 out of the 4 things worked out.. boooo
Excuse me for standing on top of my bathtub @_@ (and the toilet at the back LOL)
I paired it up with this long gold necklace from american eagle.

I picked up this pair of sunglasses at H&M on sale for $5! I love the side detailing :D
Just chillin' with my sis ;)

June Luxe Box :)

Yay I got my June Luxe Box yesterday and I was so excited! I originally ordered the 3 months package, but I missed the deadline for my May one so I didn't receive a box last month :( So you know how much anticipation there is for this one! heehee

Click here for the April Luxe Box post that I blogged about! It has the details if you're interested. One thing that's changed from that blogpost is that there has been a slight price increase (from $10 to $12 per month). If you plan on getting it a full year round, you get a discount for a total of $120 annually.

This is what the June box looks like:
Laura Mercier e/s in Twilight Grey
On the description card, it says it's upgraded to be a full sized product. I think it's because I bought the 3 months package. I was surprised to find a Laura Mercier product in the box, let alone a full sized e/s! This is actually my 1st Laura Mercier product and I'm very excited to try it out :)

Dermalogica Shaving Cream & Daily Clean Scrub
These are included in correspondence to Father's Day (as stated in the note).

Joico Colour Therapy Restorative Styling Oil / Consonant Skincare Face Wash
First impression of the Joico oil is that it works similar as any other styling oil but the texture of this one is quite light weight which I like.

Me and my sister are always pleasantly surprised by the packaging. It's just so cute!!

Much Love.

Pearly and Shiny

Last week I had to attend a wedding so I decided to go for a simple yet classy colour. I found this pearl Revlon polish in my collection.

020 Pure Pearl by Revlon
It looks almost silver, but without being over the top.

I own a few Revlon nail polishes, one of which is Minted which I absolutely LOVE! However, I've been, again and again, underwhelmed by the consistency and the finish of the polishes. Oftentimes, it takes more than 3 coats to have the colours show up vibrantly - not to mention how streaky the polishes look :( Chipping is also horrible. I think I'm going to stay away from Revlon polishes from now on. Even my Forever21 polish is better :S

I apologize for not updating this blog often enough. I blame the beautiful weather outside. It seems like this happens every summer!
Do check out my Twitter and my Tumblr though as I update those much more consistently!
