Lioele Waterdrop BB Cream Review

Since my move to Hong Kong, I feel a need to completely change my skincare / makeup routine when I finish my current stock because of the drastic climate change.  My skin has gotten more sensitive and developed more redness... I'm trying to still trying to figure out a solution.  Meanwhile, my previous beloved Skin79 Super Plus BB Cream (review here) has run out and I was more than ready to tryout a new BB Cream as the Skin79 one felt a tad bit heavy in this humid weather.  I have always been intrigued about Lioele from all the Youtube hype it got a couple years back so I went to a Colormix in search of one.  I originally had my eyes on the Lioele Beyond The Solution BB Cream.  However, with the numerous BB Cream options at the store, I was quite indecisive.  I asked the SA for help and she suggested this Lioele Waterdrop BB Cream.  She tried it on my hand and it felt much lighter than the other ones I tried.  At a price of HKD 160 for two bottles (50g each), I decided to give it a try.
Lioele Waterdrop BB Cream SPF 27 PA++
It claims to "release moisture drops to provide ample hydration and covering blemishes for a clean, natural finish.  Water Capture System that uses highly absorbing Plant Extracts, Trehalose, and Oligo HA helps maintain healthy moisture level to leave a dewy, flawless look without glossiness."
Overall, I think this product does what it claims to do on the packaging.  The application is extremely smooth.  The natural colour of the BB cream is a little darker than my skin tone; However, when I rub it against my skin, I can see water droplets being formed and gradually being blended into my skin.  This doesn't leave a grey cast unlike other BB creams I have used.  The finish is great - not too dewy or shiny, and it's extremely lightweight.  I literally don't feel like I'm wearing anything.  I usually apply two layers.  This product provides very light coverage, but it does even out my skin tone.  It also has SPF27 PA++ which is a plus.  The scent is very minimal and it's quite pleasant.  The packaging is light so it's great for travelling.  I quite enjoy this packaging rather than the pump packaging that I'm used to with the Skin79 Super Plus BB cream.

In conclusion, if you have problematic skin and you're looking for a fuller coverage, this is not for you. However, if you are only looking for slight coverage, and you live in somewhere with a humid climate, then I would recommend it.  You'll enjoy its lightweight and moisturizing properties, and as well as its protection from the sun.  It's also quite affordable, which is a plus!

Hope this is helpful.  Let me know what's your favourite BB cream :)

Much Love.

The lioele triple the solution is too thick, while the water drop is too thin. Two great products from a great brand! Though, I really need something in between, c'mon lioele work with me hereeeee!
