What is cold cream you might ask? I didn't know either until I wiki'ed it: "Cold cream is an emulsion of water and certain fats designed to smooth skin and remove makeup. The name derives from the cooling feeling that the cream leaves on the skin."
Pond's Cold Cream (190mL)
I bought it on sale at Wal-Mart for $5. The regular price isn't that much more expensive either at less than $7. Tbh, I bought this for three reasons: 1. It was on sale 2. I wanted to tryout Pond's products 3. I love anything related to skincare.
I've been struggling to find a product that removes my eye makeup completely. I tried so many different products: make up wipes, Lancome's bi-facial, oil removers, Red Earth's mild & gentle, etc. etc. Usually they're not so mild & gentle... especially when I wear dark makeup and I need lots of products to remove it. Oftentimes, it involves a lot of tugging and rubbing the sensitive eye area, which is always a no-go for me. Call me crazy, I rather leave slight hint of eye makeup on my eyes rather than continuously rub my eyes for a good 15 minutes -_-
I'm so glad to have found this jug of cold cream. It's seriously the best eye makeup remover I've ever used. It's very gentle and soothing. I guarantee it'll remove all the dark eye makeup you have on. The instruction on the website tells you to wipe it off with tissues, I just use a cloth and I think that works fine, and you don't need a whole lotta product each time either. On a side note, my grandma used to use this stuff to remove her makeup too -_- that's how long this stuff has been around for! lol
Price: 5/5 - Unbeatable price!
Scent: 3.5/5 - Slight floral scent
Effectiveness: 5/5 - Great at removing dark eye makeup!
Repurchase? Most likely :)

hey, try MANDOM cleaning express makeup remover. Seriously that thing removes makeup so fast and clean and easy! i did a review on it on my blog if you're interested.
I love this cleansing cream, too! been repurchasing over and over until I met Shu cleansing oils. This is a good back up for me if every time i run out of Shu oil and not have a budget to repurchase Shu :D
O: I didn't know you could use it to remove make-up! I always see it on sale at Walmart! My mom always buys Ponds for my relatives in China whenever we are on a trip! I should try it out, thanks for showing us! :)
i've been using lancome bifacil for the past 5 years (such a longgg time) and i've never had a problem until i started wearing japanese fiber mascaras, they are such a pain to remove >< but i think i might go and pick this up to try out! i hope it will work better. thanks for the review!
i use this as a makeup remover too, and it takes everything off. sometimes they have them on sale at walmart in a package of 2. 2 for 1 sale, and that's when i stock up (although it takes forever to finish lol!)
i've also heard it can be used as a moisturizer! tried it once, but it feels quite greasy on the face. almost like..vaseline.
I HAVE to try this now! I hope they have it on sale at my Walmart here. I've tried every oil and wipe and cream too! This is why I never buy waterproof mascara :p I can't wait to try it out now! :)
Wow this looks fabulous! Im definitely going to have to try it out! Im currently using a SK II cleansing oil but I rather use something like this rather than an oil! Can't wait to get my hands on it and I hope it works it's magic on me too! ><
I never knew this cream could be used as a make-up remover! Awesome! Learn something new everyday. ^^ Thanks!
I will give it a try, thanks for sharing!
I've been using this cream since well...the first day I wore makeup lol It's really good and I would recommend it to everybody :)
ohhh i'm going to try this! thanks for the review.. i always just use makeup wipes to take my makeup off but always wondered if there was something better!!
@a, I tried using it as a moisturizer acutally! But I don't use it on my face, I mostly use it on my neck and shoulder area... not sure why though haha :D
Haha I've always associated cold cream with grandmas but I might give this a try since it looks like one jar would last quite awhile.
This is effective, glad you like it too.:D
