Nail Polish Tag!

I saw this tag at Gaby's blog and thought it was super fun so I decided to do it as well :)

1. What's your favourite nail polish company?

I don't really have one cause I don't have a huge nail polish collection. Lately, I've been pretty impressed with Maven Julep.

2. Glitter or no glitter?

Both! For every day, I prefer no glitter, but I do like glitter once in a while!

3. OPI, China Glaze, or Essie?

I've actually never tried China Glaze, and the only OPI polish that I own is a Sephora by OPI polish! Can you believe it? Haha so I have to say Essie.

4. When do you change your nail polish?

Usually once every week. Sometimes after I take my polish off and I get so lazy that I can go for weeks without reapplying again.

5. What's your favourite color on your nails?

It really depends. Generally, I like minty greens, pinks, and pastel colours!

6. Darks or Brights?

Neither... I prefer pastels and muted colours. But if I have to choose, I'd choose brights.

7. What are you wearing on your nails right this moment?

8. Matte Nails0In or Out?

Haha what a coincidence from the last question! So even though I'm wearing a matte polish, I absolutely hate matte finishes! This is the only matte polish that I own and I regret it so whenever I put it on, i have to put on a shiny top coat!

9. French Manicure

I don't have anything against it, but I don't love it too much.

10. Favourite Winter Color

Mauvey colours. Rose, grey, or purple.

Extra question (adding this myself): What's your favourite spring colours?

METALLICS! Metallic silver, gold, bronze... I love them all in spring with a white flowy top! I don't know why, but I think it gives an edge lol.

1. Why did you create this blog?
I started watching beauty videos on youtube last September, and have been hooked ever since. I wanted to share this hobby somewhere and one day it just hit me that I could create my own blog too! I used to own another blog that's much more private, it was more like a diary, and I desperately needed somewhere that I can go to share about the happier things in life that makes me smile, like materialistic obsessions, travels, movies, beauty finds, and so on :) This blog is also a big stress reliever for me, especially when I have to study intensely for an exam. It just makes me so happy to be able to come home, sit in front of my laptop and blog, or read about your blogs!

2. What kind of blogs do you follow?
I follow different types of blogs, but most of them have a focus on beauty and fashion. I especially love it when bloggers blog about their life and express a bit about their feelings. I'm able to learn so much about different beauty products, and great deals that are going on, which is also why packages keep arriving at my doorstep and my bank account keeps shrinking...

3. Favourite makeup brand?
I really don't have a specific brand. I used to own a lot of Laneige, but I'm branching out so I can try different products. Lately, I'm very impressed with the quality of Lancome products.

4. Favourite clothing brand?
Anthropologie!!!! even though I just went there once this past weekend, but I do really love the whole vibe of the store and its clothes. I do shop at F21 a lot because you can always find great deals there, and because they're so cheap, even if you wear them for one or two seasons, you won't feel so bad. There are some brands that I love that I can't get a hold of in Canada, I'll probably do a post on those in the near future.

5. Your indespensible makeup product:
I would say my eyeliner. Lately, I've been loving cream / gel eyeliner. I also really love my Laneige press powder.

6. Your favourite colour:
navy, grey, soft feminine colours

7. Your Perfume:
YSL young sexy lovely for a casual day out
Gucci rush for nice night out
currently loving the smell of my Tom Ford Black Orchid body moisturizer!

8. Your favourite film:
I'm gonna change this to tv shows.. I love HIMYM, Gossip Girl, and The Office!

9. What country would you like to visit and why?
I'm gonna cheat a little and list some :P
Korea because I want to buy some korean beauty products
Hawaii, not really a country, but I'd love to go there
Greece, I agree with Winnie, what more can you ask for with white houses and green ocean!

If I grant you a special power, what would it be?
