I've been eating wayyy too much lately. And I've accumulated some food pics, so I decided to make a post to share with all of you food lovers :D
- Soju Watermelon
Since you guys had some questions on what soju watermlon is on my last post, I decided to explain it a little. I actually learned it from a friend. What you do is, you cut a hole in the watermelon, big enough to stuff the soju bottle in. Then put it in the fridge over night. If successful, the content of the soju in the bottle would decrease the next day. Then, cut it up and eat it :D

I had to cut off my friend's head in this picture since I don't know if he minds his face being on the internet. The taste of the soju in the watermelon isn't that intense. Well, the taste of the soju alone isn't strong anyway. I believe you can also do this with vodka or any other alcohol that you prefer. I suggest something not with a strong taste though.
- Beard Papa's
Beard Papa's is a Japanese company that sells cream puffs. I recently found out that they opened a store on the 2nd floor of Pacific Mall in Markham so I had to go try out some :P You can choose the whipped cream flavour such as vanilla, strawberry, green tea, etc. I chose to try out green tea. The cream puff is pretty big, probably the size of your palm. Each one costs around $2. I kind of hoped that the cream would be colder though, but definitely worth a try!

- Chinese food
I went to 强记鸡粥 in Scarborough and fell in love. Who can say no to congee, clams, and vege! I was extremely happy and full that night hehehe

- CNE food (Deep Fried Butter)
Yesterday, I went to CNE in Toronto and came across this food stall selling weird snacks that I've never heard of - Twinkie Log, Deep Fried Butter, Bacon covered in chocolate, Deep Fried Mars Bar?!?? The lineup was hella long. I was a bit hesitant at first, but decided to give it a try. I bought the deep fried butter for $5. It's an interesting feeling, it tasted like bread almost. I didn't fall in love with it though, probably because I'm not a big fan of fried food.
- Smoke's Poutinerie
This is my favourite food of all!! I absolutely adore poutine. For those of you who don't know, poutine is french fries topped with cheese curd, gravy, and sometimes additional ingredients. It was originated in Quebec. After CNE yesterday, me and my bf travelled to Adelaide to find the store because we didn't realize they also sold it in the food building in CNE :( Oh well! You can check out their menu and their locations here: http://smokespoutinerie.com/
Chili Poutine (top) and Prime Beef Poutine (bottom)
I prefer the Chili poutine more just because the taste of the chili and the fries mixed together sooo well. I recommend this to everyone!
Hope all of you had a great weekend. Much love.
